Treatment of gingivitis

Gingivitis is an inflammatory disease caused by microbes, which concerns only the gingiva. Its main symptoms are redness and bleeding of the gums observed by the person, usually when brushing his/her teeth. The treatment of gingivitis involves removing the microbial plaque and tartar from the teeth, learning effective oral hygiene and finally maintaining the therapeutic effect through regular re-checks.
